The School of Dance and Music was established to bring exceptional dance instruction to the South Bay. In cooperation with our first rate Music Program, we offer a wide range of options for children to adults.

Smaller Class Sizes
Enabling a student to get more individual instruction from a teacher results in greater progress over a shorter period of time. Capping our class sizes also ensures that the teacher can catch problems before they turn into bad habits or improper technique.

Variety of Dance Styles & Methods
Highly qualified teachers with varied training and teaching methods are available to a teach abroad range of dance format.

Our Dance Studio Advantage - The "Floating" Professional Dance Floor
Our floor rests on a system of 2900 high density foam blocks to absorb the shock and impact of regular dance movements. This benefits students by reducing fatigue and preventing injury that can result from dancing on hard surfaces.

 

The top layer of our flooring surface is a professional vinyl composite "marley" floor similar to the surfaces used by Royal Academy of Dance, and Riverdance-the-Touring Show. This marley floor surface has a certain amount of controlled slip to allow for sliding in dance movement, but is not slippery like common tiles found in most other dance studios.

Preschool Dance 2-5 years
Introduction to ballet and tap for children from 2 to 5 years of age. They will learn the basic steps and positions through fun and exciting exercises while introducing ballet's French terminology. The specially designed class for this age group provides a sound foundation for the transition into classical dance training.

Performance & Competition
All dance students are given the option of performance experience in our year-end recital held at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center. Students also have the option to participate in festivals, competitions, and exams in our Competition and Junior Teams. Dance Tuition - Monthly - (2 months min.)

30min./wk = $39.00/mo
50min.- 1hr/wk = $76.00/mo
2nd hr/wk = $70.00/mo
3rd hr/wk = $62.00/mo
4th hr/wk = $53.00/mo
Additional hours/wk = $50.00/mo
single class rate (1 hr) = $20.00
single class rate (1.5 hrs) = $28.00
One private lesson 1hr = $80.00; 1/2hr = $40.00
