The School of Dance and Music was established to bring exceptional dance instruction to Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach, El Segundo, Torrance and South Bay areas. In cooperation with our first rate Music Program, we offer a wide range of options for children to adults.

Smaller Class Sizes
Enabling a student to get more individual instruction from a teacher results in greater progress over a shorter period of time. Capping our class sizes also ensures that the teacher can catch problems before they turn into bad habits or improper technique.

Highly qualified teachers with varied training and teaching methods are available to teach in a broad range of dance formats...such as Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Tap, Ballroom, Modern, as well as Preschool and Mommy and Me.

Our Dance Studio Advantage - The "Floating" Professional Dance Floor
Our floor rests on a system of 2900 high density foam blocks to absorb the shock and impact of regular dance movements. This benefits students by reducing fatigue and preventing injury that can result from dancing on hard surfaces. The top layer of our flooring surface is a professional vinyl composite "marley" floor similar to the surfaces used by Royal Academy of Dance, and Riverdance-the-Touring Show. This marley floor surface has a certain amount of controlled slip to allow for sliding in dance movement, but is not slippery like common tiles found in most other dance studios.
